The LINER 1550 TWIN Profil gives you the choice between one large swath or two individual ones, depending on the yield and the machine used to gather up the crop. You can switch between settings quickly and easily as and when required, saving you valuable time and effort.
It’s so simple. The wheel position is modified by extending the integral double-acting hydraulic cylinder in the steering linkage. The LINER 1550 TWIN PROFIL then crosses the field at an angle. All that needs to be done now is to reposition the second swath former and you produce two swaths instead of one in one go! |
- 2 point inverted U-shaped connection for maximum freedom of movement of the single wide angle drive shaft with freewheel mechanism.
- Continuous mechanical height adjustment of the rotors.
- Sequential control at the headland for a clean end to the swath. First, the forward rotor is lifted and then the rear rotor is raised to its maximum up to a stop.
- Swath guard swings back automatically.
- Removable tine arms reduce the on-road transport height.
- Four wheel rotor running gear for even, clean and thorough work across the entire working width.
- Straightforward locking and releasing of the rotor running gear for maximum stability on steep slopes and the tightest possible turning circles.

Compact transport package.
The transport running gear located between the rotors saves on machine length. The large on-road wheels with six-hole rims make it simple to move the swather from field to another. The active chassis steering system on the LINER 1550 TWIN PROFIL keeps the machine in line behind the tractor. Road speeds of 40 km/h are permitted.

Not every field is even and smooth – undulating, hilly ground is also part of the day to day business of harvesting. To master conditions of this kind, perfect ground contour following is essential. The CLAAS contour chassis makes covering each contour out in the field a piece of cake.
Free-moving rotor frame, completely independent of the main frame.
Perfect ground contour following for any ground profile is achieved by means of the ability to turn in two directions – with and at right angles to the direction of travel.
Capable of high speeds thanks to the stability of the chassis.
The wheels are positioned close to the tines to allow for even, clean raking across the entire working width.
The result is clean crop pick-up and protection of the stubble. |

Electro-hydraulic adjustment of the swath guard available as an option.
Infinite adjustment of the swath width from the driver’s seat.
